…and is currently part of a huge regeneration plan, spearheaded by Stockport Council. Neighbouring Redrock is an exciting mixed-use leisure development and has been more recently added to the ECHO portfolio, enabling us to cross-promote and market both schemes.
Objective
A longstanding client, ECHO provide PR and social media management for both Merseyway and Redrock. Supporting the local community is key to Merseyway and Redrock and we’ve helped deliver PR campaigns for Merseyway’s annual Giving Tree at Christmas, a pre-loved uniform shop in the centre to help local families during the cost of living crisis and the Giving Box, which raises year-round funds for local charities and community groups.

Favourite PR moment: Seeing Merseyway’s Centre Manager Victoria on the BBC Breakfast sofa being interviewed by Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty on the centre’s Giving Tree – and smashing it!
